What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
When visitors leave comments on our site we collect the data shown in the comments form and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The privacy policy for the Gravatar service is available here. After approval of your comment, your profile image is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Contact forms
When you enter data in the contact forms (forms such as the one on the La Escuela de La Hidra pages), these are sent to an email address managed by La Hidra.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you can choose to save your name, email and website address in cookies. This is for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain personal data and is deleted when you close the browser.

How long do we keep your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve subsequent comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
If you request information through the La Escuela de La Hidra form, your data is transferred to a file managed by La Hidra, this file is kept indefinitely.
What rights do you have over your data
If you have an account, have left comments on this website or have submitted a contact form, you can request to receive an export file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
You can also request that we delete any personal data we have about you. This does not include any data that we are required to retain for administrative, legal or security purposes.
Where do we send your data
Visitor comments may be reviewed by an automatic spam detection service.
The personal data provided through the form available in the “La Escuela de La Hidra” section are recorded in a file under the responsibility of La Hidra, in order to carry out the appropriate procedures.
Your email address that you leave us in the subscription form for our “Newsletter” is managed from our MailChimp account. Here you can see MailChimp’s privacy policy.
