Contested Territories
Contested Territories is an international and intersectoral network formed by organizations from Europe and Latin America with a joint research program: the generation of conceptual and empirical knowledge on territorial inequalities.
The objective is to analyze the dynamics of dispossession and expulsion in different regions and to see how communities can imagine, dispute and reappropriate their territories.
Alternative practices and knowledge promoted by communities are the basis for understanding the transformations of space and society.
